anyway to get back on topic after a month I'll get the pacific and build an underwater base me and predator will run the space program and cheese will lead us from Australia. right? and stay realistic you can't really do much with the sun except overload and blow it up killing billions. now really what would be the point?

Even if the sun were to explode, it's take a minimum of 500 years to notice the difference here on Earth so it's not like most of us will even be alive to say "Oh, did you know the sun exploded and we only have 4500 years to live?"

Uhhh if our sun exploded wouldn't the super nova destroy our solar system? Because once a sun dies and explodes it creates a black hole right or becomes a collection of dust and particles that slowly form a new sun over eons?

The under sea base is for research on exploring and terraforming other planets once technology is available. Also if needed we could launch a *sh-t* load of large spaceships to evacuate the planet. but only if absolutely necessary.
