| you know what kinda pisses me off? ill tell ya. for the past week ive talked to at least 100 coules not married just dateing of living together and not one of them had anything specal planned for today, ive been told many many reasions for this and all of em make me even more confused, i mean really WTF really. its like someone starving watching a bunch of hungry people walking around a table full of food but wont eat cause of something like theres to much food or theres to much food to pick from all the while the guy watching outside pounding on the window saying just eat it. whatever everyone gets out of today you all are my family and i wish you all the joy and love i can give Happy Valinetines Day _________________  |

| If you were pounding on the window outside I'd let you eat something. Personally I don't celebrate valetines day because I was forced to celebrate it during elementary school, having to waste money on cards and the rule you had to give everyone a card so nobody felt left out. Then pretty much i realized it became more about buying things and spending money, commercialism. Also the fact the door seems to swing only one way and thats towards women, hell i want flowers and chocolate too

| I also think it's sad that the day is caught up in commercialism because the holiday is really a memorial to Saint Valentine who dared to continue marrying couples against the word of the Roman emperor Claudius II who thought single men made the best soldiers... Yeah, Saint Valentine's Day is the commemoration of the day of his martyrdom, the day he got his head cut off 269-270ish A.D. because he believed that people should have the freedom to marry and be together if they so chose!
